Drought Impacts on Oak Woodlands – NASA Earth Observations Project
The RCDSMM worked with NASA on vegetation mapping in the Santa Monica Mountains in order to track the effects of drought on tree cover. Check out the video below for more information on this incredbile project.
101 Wildlife Overpass
The RCDSMM-designed and Caltrans-engineered wildlife overpass Project Study Report was released. This time lapse video shows the conceptual design for the proposed wildlife overpass location above the 101 Freeway near Liberty Canyon Road in Agoura Hills. LA River Temperature Study
The RCDSMM teamed up with Trout Unlimited, FoLAR, Heal the Bay, Arroyo Seco Foundation, CalState LA, and dozens of citizen science volunteers to study the temperature of the LA River from the headwaters to the ocean. California Newts
